1. Use of Our Services

Star Scans and Labs provides diagnostic imaging and laboratory testing services only. Our services are:

• Available to individuals with valid prescriptions from registered medical practitioners
• Provided on a "consultation as needed" basis with qualified healthcare professionals
• Limited to diagnostic testing and imaging only, NOT medical treatment or consultation
• For patients aged 18 years and above (parental consent required for minors)

All diagnostic services must be performed based on valid medical prescriptions. We do NOT provide services without proper documentation.

2. Your Responsibilities

As a user of our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete personal information when booking appointments
• Present valid medical prescriptions from registered doctors for diagnostic services
• Inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or medications that may affect your diagnostic tests
• Follow pre-appointment instructions provided by our staff (fasting, specimen collection, etc.)
• Pay for services as per agreed charges and payment methods
• NOT impersonate anyone or provide false information
• Respect the confidentiality and privacy of other patients and staff
• NOT use our services for any illegal or harmful purposes

4. Payment Terms & Policies

Payment Methods: We accept online payments, debit/credit cards, UPI, and cash on the day of service.

Billing:

• Payment is required either during booking (online) or on the day of service (cash/card)
• Invoices will be provided for all transactions
• No refunds are provided once the diagnostic service has been initiated
• Adjustments or credits are available only at management discretion

Pricing: Service charges are subject to applicable taxes. Rates may change with notice. We are not liable for any price discrepancies that users may encounter from outdated information.

5. Diagnostic Reports & Results

Report Delivery: Diagnostic reports will be delivered within the specified time frame via email, WhatsApp, or in-person collection at our facility.

Report Accuracy:

• All reports are prepared by qualified medical professionals
• Reports are provided for clinical reference and consultation with your doctor ONLY
• We are not liable for errors arising from incorrect medical history provided by the patient
• Patients must consult their doctor for interpretation and any medical decisions

Confidentiality: All diagnostic reports are confidential and will only be shared with authorized individuals upon presentation of valid identification.

7. WhatsApp & Communication Terms

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive service-related communication from Star Scans and Labs:

Authorized Communications:

• Appointment confirmations, reminders, and scheduling updates
• Report availability notifications
• Service-related inquiries and support
• General information about our services

Prohibited Communications:

• We do NOT send promotional or marketing messages via WhatsApp
• We do NOT provide medical advice or consultation via WhatsApp
• We do NOT share your WhatsApp number with third parties

Opt-out: You can request to opt-out of WhatsApp communication by contacting us directly, though this may affect appointment reminders and report notifications.

8. Limitation of Liability

Star Scans and Labs and its staff are not liable for:

• Any medical decisions or outcomes based on diagnostic results
• Errors or omissions in diagnostic reports due to incomplete patient information
• Delays in report delivery beyond our reasonable control
• Loss or damage to personal belongings during your visit
• Adverse reactions or complications from diagnostic procedures (if proper disclosure was made)
• Any medical advice given by third parties or other patients

Diagnostic services are provided "AS IS" without any express or implied warranty of accuracy or completeness. Results must be reviewed with your healthcare provider.

9. Data Privacy & Security

Your personal and medical information is protected according to our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you authorize Star Scans and Labs to:

• Collect and store your personal and medical information
• Share your information with qualified healthcare professionals as needed for diagnostic purposes
• Send appointment reminders and report notifications via phone, SMS, or WhatsApp
• Maintain records for legal and regulatory compliance

We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure. You use our services at your own risk.

10. Website Use & Intellectual Property

Permitted Use: You may access and use our website for legitimate appointment booking and service information purposes only.

Prohibited Use:

• Do NOT use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access our website
• Do NOT use our website for illegal activities or to harm others
